This work was commissioned for the Charivari exhibition focusing on the public rituals of noise-making with pots and pans (Charivari, Katzenmusik, and Cacerolazo) historically employed to express social disapproval as non-violent forms of political protest.

Aluminum is one of the most common materials in contemporary cookware and becomes the main material for this installation. Alles in Ordnung is an interactive work that employs this material to question the political weight individuals carry within a space. Each time a visitor steps on the work, the altered sound of aluminum shavings is amplified and distorted through the exhibition space. Over time, visitors gradually erase the message painted in the aluminum, transforming passive observation into active participation.
