Curriculum Vitae
Juan Bermúdez, born in 1994 in Bogota, is a Colombian sound artist based in Wiesbaden. He is interested in how we interact with the concept of time. In his practice, he explores the relationship between sound and the passage of time.
Juan has exhibited at the SoundSeeing festival in Münsterland, SÍM exhibition hall in Reykjavik, WaveCave Sound Art Gallery in Santa Clarita California, Espacio Odeón in Bogotá, and the Klangkunstfestival Opening in Trier, among others. In 2021 he was awarded the Deutschland Stipendium and in 2022 he received the Rotary Club Mainz-Churmeyntz cultural promotion award.
